Mondscheins ingredients are home produced.
Savour nature's best - daily fresh baked bread free of additives, air-dried local hams, veal sausages, liver pate, home made preserves, "Zirbelar" ice and much more, make the dining experience special and unforgettable.

House speciality - try our "Blaubeerkuachle". Closely kept secret age old recipe.

"Blaubeerküachle"
for 4 persons:
400 g blue berries (best fresh)
120 g flour
100 ml water
100 g sugar
100 g butter
1/2 litre of whip cream

Crush the blueberries with a fork, leave some out. Keep a handful of berries for the sauce. Add the flour to the berries, so that the paste develops. Bring water to boil and add the sugar, after 6 min you add the berries (the handful). Leave it cooking until its syruplike. Put some butter in pan, take a spoon to make the "Küachle" form and fry it (not too hot).
Serve the "Küachle" with its sauce, "Zirbeneis" (stone pine ice-cream) fullfill their taste.
